Rear door sunshade

The rear door sunshade is built into the rear doors at the base of the window. It can be raised when rear passengers want additional shade from sunlight or improved comfort in bright conditions.
- To raise the sunshade, pull upward using the center tab 1. Lift it smoothly and evenly so the shade extends correctly from the door.
- Hook the sunshade slots onto the tabs extending from the top of the window frame 2. Make sure the sunshade is properly secured before releasing it.
CAUTION
- Do not release the rear door sunshade suddenly while operating it. Allowing it to snap back may damage the sunshade or cause injury.
- Do not pull the sunshade forcefully.
Excessive pulling may stretch or deform the sunshade material.
This could cause improper operation or may damage the sunshade mechanism.
- Do not place objects on or near the rear sunshade. Objects may interfere with movement, cause improper operation, or damage the sunshade in the Nissan Murano.
NOTE:
To help avoid damage to the rear door sunshade, observe the following precautions:
- Do not pull or push the sunshade in any direction other than upward during normal operation.
- Do not pull or push the sunshade while it is already attached to the hooks at the top of the window frame.
- Do not allow liquids, loose items, or debris to enter the sunshade storage area, as this may affect smooth operation or damage the shade assembly.
