Interior lights

Basic Information

Nissan Murano interior light control panel with map light brightness switch

  1. The interior lights can be turned on regardless of door position. The lights will turn off after a period of time unless the ignition switch is placed in the ON position while any door is open.
  2. The interior lights can be set to operate when the doors are opened. To turn off the interior lights while a door is open, touch the switch; the lights will not illuminate regardless of door position.

The lights will go off when the ignition switch is placed in the ON position, or when the driver's door is closed and locked.

  3. The brightness of the map lights can be adjusted in 4 levels by touching this switch, allowing the cabin lighting in the Nissan Murano to be set for the desired level of visibility.

CAUTION Do not use the interior lights for extended periods of time while the engine is stopped. Doing so could discharge the vehicle battery.
