Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plate

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plate is attached at the location shown in the illustration. The VIN serves as the primary identification number for your Nissan Murano and is used for vehicle registration, ownership records, and other official documentation. Make sure the number recorded on registration documents matches the VIN displayed on the vehicle.

The Federal/Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards certification label, identified as the F.M.V.S.S./C.M.V.S.S. label, is affixed at the location shown. The air conditioner specification label is affixed to the underside of the hood at the location shown. It identifies the refrigerant, lubricant, and service-related requirements applicable to the Nissan Murano air conditioning system.

Installing front license plate

To install the front license plate, position the license plate bracket against the plastic finisher at the marked mounting points, identified by the small dimples.
