WARNING

  • Failure to understand and follow the warnings and operating instructions for the Intelligent Around View Monitor could lead to a collision, serious injury, or death.
  • The Intelligent Around View Monitor is a convenience feature and cannot replace careful vehicle operation or direct observation of the surrounding area. Some locations around the Nissan Murano are outside the cameras' fields of view. Objects near the four corners of the vehicle may not always appear in the bird's-eye, front, or rear views. Before moving, look around the vehicle, check the mirrors, and confirm that the path is clear. Always maneuver slowly and remain prepared to stop.
  • The driver remains fully responsible for safe parking, reversing, and all other low-speed maneuvers, regardless of which camera view is displayed.

CAUTION When removing dirt, ice, or snow from a camera, clean the lens carefully and avoid scratching its surface. A damaged or obstructed lens may reduce image clarity and affect system performance.

The Intelligent Around View Monitor is designed to assist the driver during low-speed maneuvers, including parking in a marked space, parallel parking, and positioning the Nissan Murano near surrounding objects.

The monitor combines images from multiple cameras and presents different views of the vehicle and nearby area in a split-screen format. These images provide additional visual references, but they should always be used together with direct observation through the windows and mirrors.

The views available on the screen vary according to the selected shift position, vehicle operating condition, and display mode. As a result, not every camera view can be selected or displayed at all times.

Available views:

  • Front view
Provides an approximately 150-degree image of the area in front of the vehicle to assist with observing obstacles and available clearance during low-speed forward movement.
  • Rear view
Provides an approximately 150-degree image of the area behind the vehicle when reversing or performing other supported maneuvers.
  • Bird's-eye view
Combines the surrounding camera images to create an overhead-style representation of the Nissan Murano and the area immediately around it.
  • Front-side view
Shows the area beside and ahead of the front passenger-side wheel, helping the driver judge clearance near curbs, parking lines, and nearby objects.
  • Front-wide view
Displays a broader view of the area in front of the vehicle than the standard front camera image.
  • Rear-wide view
Displays a wider section of the area behind the vehicle than the standard rear view, providing additional visibility toward both sides.
  • Invisible hood view
Presents a view of the area directly ahead of the vehicle with a transparent representation of the engine hood, making the ground and nearby obstacles in front of the Nissan Murano easier to observe.
  • 3D view
Provides a 360-degree visual representation around the vehicle, allowing the surrounding area to be viewed from different perspectives.
