Gasoline with an octane rating below the specified minimum may cause improper engine operation and could result in engine damage. All gasoline-powered versions of the vehicle must be operated with unleaded gasoline. Avoid taking the vehicle into an area where unleaded fuel with the required octane rating cannot be reliably obtained.

When transferring the vehicle's registration to another country, state, province, or district, modifications may be required before the vehicle can legally be registered or operated. These changes may be necessary to bring the Nissan Murano into compliance with the laws and technical requirements of the new registration area.
