When traveling or registering in another country
Before driving your NISSAN vehicle in another country, confirm that the gasoline available at your destination is compatible with the engine and meets the required fuel specifications. Fuel quality and availability can vary considerably between regions, so this should be checked before the vehicle is transported or driven across a border.
Gasoline with an octane rating below the specified minimum may cause improper engine operation and could result in engine damage. All gasoline-powered versions of the vehicle must be operated with unleaded gasoline. Avoid taking the vehicle into an area where unleaded fuel with the required octane rating cannot be reliably obtained.
When transferring the vehicle's registration to another country, state, province, or district, modifications may be required before the vehicle can legally be registered or operated. These changes may be necessary to bring the Nissan Murano into compliance with the laws and technical requirements of the new registration area.
Motor vehicle safety standards, emission control requirements, equipment regulations, and inspection rules differ between countries, states, provinces, and districts. As a result, vehicle specifications and factory-installed equipment intended for one market may not satisfy the legal requirements of another.
When a vehicle is transported to and registered in another country, state, province, or district, the owner or user is responsible for arranging transportation, determining whether modifications are required, completing the registration process, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. NISSAN is not responsible for costs, delays, restrictions, or inconvenience resulting from these requirements.
