Nissan Murano engine compartment check points for coolant oil battery and washer fluid

2.0L 4 cylinder (KR20DDET engine model)

  1. Engine coolant reservoir, used as the visible check point for the engine cooling system level during routine inspection.
  2. Drive belt location, where the belt routing area can be visually checked for general condition and proper placement.
  3. Engine oil filler cap, the access point used when engine oil is added during maintenance.
  4. Air cleaner, which houses the intake air filter element and helps keep dust and debris from entering the engine intake system.
  5. Brake fluid reservoir, the marked container used to check brake fluid level as part of regular under-hood inspection.
  6. Fuse/Fusible link box, containing electrical protection components for selected vehicle circuits.
  7. Battery, located in the engine compartment area and used to supply electrical power for starting and vehicle electrical systems.
